Pure Hope / National Coalition
The National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families ("National Coalition") is a Christian organization that seeks to protect children and families from the harms of pornography by empowering concerned citizens and community leaders to significantly reduce sexual exploitation and violence in America. It carries out this mission through various educational outreaches aimed at (1) Increasing public awareness of the availability and harm of exploitative and abusive pornography, (2) Supporting the enactment and enforcement, within the Constitution, of limitations on pornography, and (3) Offering assistance to people harmed by pornography.



Mission: Citizens for Community Values (CCV) exists to promote Judeo-Christian moral values, and to reduce destructive behaviors contrary to those values, through education, active community partnership, and individual empowerment at the local, state and national levels.



The General Commission on the Status and Role of Women is helping the church to be a more reliable and trustworthy agent of the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that we recognize every person as a "full an equal part of God's human family." (The Book of Discipline)
Through training, advocacy, research and monitoring, GCSRW:
  • Nurtures women leaders in the church
  • Addresses gender discrimination
  • Confronts sexual harassment and abuse and advocates for victims
  • Raises awareness about women's issues and opportunities
  • Identifies institutional sexism and recommends ways to diminish it





The United Methodist Church seeks to create an environment of hospitality for all persons, male or female, which is free from misconduct of a sexual nature and encourages respect, equality, and kinship in Christ.
